Step 14 The name of the plant moves into the list box above the photo.
The object in this step is to drag a rectangle to enclose (lassoo?) the plant which we wish to identify. Right click with your mouse at the top LEFT of where you wish to begin dragging a rectangle (note that the
cursor changes to a cross-hair when you move into the photo. Then LEFT click and keep the left button depressed and drag the mouse in the direction of the bottom RIGHT of the intended rectangle.
Try not to enclose any parts of another plant in the photo. . Then click on the “Add” button (see cursor) More Info: If you dont get the rectangle quite right, move the mouse out of the image area to clear the
rectangle and start again. Heres a useful feature. Experiment with the left mouse continually depressed as follows. Drag the mouse out of the rectangle towards the upper LEFT corner of the photo. The
rectangle disappears. Now drag the rectangle again. The upper left corner of the rectangle begins at the new start point. This is useful if you wish to correct the outline of the square by encapsulating parts of the
plant which are slightly higher or slightly more to the left. Next Step
