Editing a photo - Screen GA605S04

 

To get to this screen
When using the program Garden Photos - GA605, click the Edit Photo button.
The screen GA605S04 looks like this:-

Lassoing
ADDING lasso coodinates
Click the tab Photo title and noted.
Referring to this screenshot:
Click the radio button Plants in selected area .
You can add lasso co-ordinates for any plant in the list.

  • Double click on the name of a plant in the list
    The plant name will appear in the list above the photo.
  • The object is to drag a rectangle around the plant.
    Visualise top left of the rectangle. Move the mouse cross hair to that point.
  • Right click to initiate the capture
  • then left click, keep the left button depressed and drag a white rectangle with the mouse. You MUST drag from top left to bottom right to make the rectangle.
  • Release the mouse button.
  • Now click the Add  button just above the photo. The co-ordinates have been captured.

You may repeat this process for multiple occurrences of the plant.

CHANGING lasso coodinates

  • Click on a plant name in the list to the right of the photo.
    All occurrences of co-ordinates for that plant appear in the list above the photo.
  • Clicking on the lines will identify the plant with a white rectangle.
  • Click on the line to be changed.
  • Drag new co-ordinates as described in ADDING above.
  • Click on the Change button just above the photo.
    The old co-ordinates are replaced by the new.

What is that plant?

  • Left click on the plant image
  • Move the mouse slightly
    The name of the plant appears on the photo. (assuming it has been given co-ordinares!!)
  • The last plant to be identified will "stick" to the cursor until you either move the mouse out of the photo region OR double click inside the photo region.
