Starting the program
On the Main Menu, click the Setup
tab then click:

About the program
This program allows you to set up two items
which are specific to the database currently open and in use.
1. Configuration
This program allows the user to change the default a) Gardener and b) Garden Area popup captions.
The Gardener and Garden Area popups appear frequently in
Ideas Genie programs.
This feature allows the user to change these parameters (captions) globally, or add additional configurations.
Example 1:
The
captions may be translated into another language.
Example 2:
A garden designer who keeps records of plants used in client gardens could change the parameters
to a) Client and b) Garden Area
Note: In older versions of Ideas Genie this item had a separate program called System Configuration.
2. Changing the Thumbnail Folder
When you add Plant or Garden photos in Ideas
Genie, the program creates thumbnails for each photo selected.
Advanced users may create additional databases.
You MUST create a unique folder for each
database.
Some users may have 1000’s of photos and may prefer to have that large number of thumbnails stored on an external device.
This feature allows you to choose an alternative folder to store your thumbnails.
